Spark Enthusiasm - Teacher Resources

When teaching cultural units, animotos are a wonderful tool to use to spark students' interest and curiosity. For example, before teaching about Hispanic culture in the United States, play this cultural animoto as the students are entering the classroom. The animoto has many images and video snippets of interesting cultural elements. Students can write down what they remember from the video or what they hope to learn more about during the upcoming unit. Also, teachers can use this animoto at the conclusion of a Hispanic culture unit. Teachers can ask students to watch the animoto and then write down or discuss all they have learned about this topic.
