LOS PROGRAMAS DE TELE

"Success is no accident.  It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all love of what you are doing or learning to do."

For television shows, the teacher can present this Power Point that teaches about popular shows from various Spanish-speaking countries.  The presentation includes video snippets that highlight the information in the presentation.
Here are some videos of popular shows in Spanish.

After the students view the presentation or the video, they can play a game called Tele Tonta.  Here are the scripts for the students from several well-known American TV shows.  Divide the students into groups of 3 or 4 and give each group a different script.  The included scripts are La Teoría del Big Bang,
Una Familia Modelo, El Soltero, Familia Moderna, La Juez Judith, Un Día en la Vida de las Kardashian, Amigos, El Rey
de las Tartas, Dinastía del Pato, and Investigación de Escena
del Crimen en Miami.

Give the students a few minutes to practice their skits and hand out any props you may want to provide them.
Once the students have practiced their skits, give all of the students this guessing worksheet.  After each group presents their skit, ask all of the students to write down their guesses for the name of the TV show on their guessing worksheet.  The group that guesses the most TV shows correctly wins and you may also award a prize to the group that presents the best skit!

Another TV show game that you can play with the students is called Diálogos Divertidos.  Give the students this list of video clips or load the clips on a Chromebook, a different clip for each group.  Once each group has an assigned video clip, they will use it to create funny dialogues for the characters in the clip.
Give the groups a few minutes to create their own dialogues or give them these starter dialogues to help them along.  After the groups have created their dialogues, have them come up, project their clip on the screen, and present their videos to the group.
